Funded by the Department of Health and Ageing through their e-Health program, the UWA CSP partnered with the Great Southern GP Network in 2007 to provide a secure network connecting GPs, Specialists, Hospitals, Aged Care Facilities and allied health providers. Running on the secure network was the UWA CSP's MMEx software, an online, collaborative e-Health platform delivering multiple modes of communicating and sharing patient information securely as the basis for full clinical patient management for acute and primary health care.   

UWA CSP has collaborated with partners including the the Department of Health WA, Kimberley Aboriginal Medical Services Council, Kimberley Division of General Practice, Kimberley Population Health Unit, WA GP Network and other health care professionals.

In 2009, the UWA CSP has entered into a new agreement with Department of Health WA to further develop e-Health functionality.
