Configuring Best Practice for the Importation of MMEx Non HL7 Documents

Automatically downloaded documents can be easily stored against patients' files in Best Practice. This includes documents that have not been HL7 formatted.

When your MMEx Client is installed, part of the installation includes establishing two files where HL7 and non-HL7 documents will be stored. When integrating MMEx with your Practice Management System (PMS), you will have to direct the PMS to the location of your MMEx documents.

To attach a non-HL7 document to a Patient's record open up the patients record in Best Practice, and select the Correspondence In option from the left hand sidebar. Then click on Add.
