Configuring MedTech32 for the Importation of MMEx Non-HL7 Documents

MMEx Non-HL7 documents can be manually imported into MedTech32.

The MMEx Client will automatically download message attachments to configurable directories on your server where they can be easily imported into MedTech32.

The following simple steps will configure MedTech32 for importation of MMEx’s Non-HL7 Documents.

Log into MedTech32. From the Main Menu Toolbar, select the Patient Menu and select the patient referred to in the document you are importing. If you don’t know which patient is being referred to, you can log into MMEx via a web browser and check, or if your non-HL7 messages are labelled with the patient’s name, you can navigate to the MMEx storage location on your computer/server, and check there.

Once you have opened the patient’s record, open the Module Menu and then click on the Inbox option, and finally select the Attachments Manager option.

The Attachments Manager Box will then open, and you will be able to see previously imported documents that have already been stored in the patient’s file.

To import a new document, click on the new attachment icon in the left hand corner of the Attachments Manager Box. In the File Name click on the ... icon to begin to browse for the new documents. Navigate to the storage location (if you’ve forgotten where your system stores your non-HL7 documents, you can check on the MMEx Client).
