Log in to MMEx, click on the Patients tab and select the patient you wish to bill from the list. Click on the Finalise button, top right corner of the page.

Select Bulk Billing from the drop down list and select the MBS Items you wish to charge for from the list. You can search for an item or select items from your frequently used items. Click on the Confirm button at the top of the page.
You will now receive this message:
Click on Go there now to continue to the next page.
Alternatively, click on Billing under the Patients tab in the menu.
Expand the options available for the current patient bill by clicking on the
icon.
If the current claim at hand is not visible on your screen, check the view toggle drop down list at the top left corner of the page and ensure that All selected. If Submitted or Completed are selected, for example, you wil not see your current claim on the screen.
Please indicate whether the patient was referred to you by clicking on the Referral/Request Details button and selecting the appropriate item from the drop down list available.
Some MBS items may have the option here to change the number of patients, if multiple patients were seen at once. To do this, click the Change button, which will only be visible for certain items, in the Patients column next to the item. Enter the number of patients and click Save (see Figure 3).

You can enter specific details about the item, such as aftercare, equipment id, field quantity details (amongst others), by clicking on the More button for that item.

Press the Print DB4 button on the right hand side. The patient must sign this document before you may press Confirm DB4, making your bill ready to claim.

If you receive a message stating that, 'The patient details were last verified on [some date] and the patient was found to be eligible for Medicare claiming,' click here for instructions.
All claims made can be assigned to batches. To do this, click on the Batch button (see in Figure 5). You can either select a batch from the drop down list of already existing ones, or create a new batch by typing a name for it in the Create New Batch text box (Figure 6). Click Batch to save.

Click Medicare Processing to send the claim to Medicare. The payment and processing report will appear automatically.
