In the case of accidentally arriving to have two records listed for the one patient, this can be fixed by merging the two records together. This may occur in the process of importing records from your practice management system and creating records using the Add New Patient feature on MMEx if they overlap.
To merge one record into the other, on the patient list screen, right click on the duplicate patient name and click on the Merge button (Figure 1).

A box will pop up, showing your patient list. Find in the list, and click on, the duplicate copy of the patient's record into which you would like to merge the copy that you right clicked on to begin with (Figure 2).

A warning box will then appear to confirm that you have selected the right records. If any details are missing from one of the records, or, for example, the first initial is given in one instead of the full first name of the patient, it will say that they do not match up. This is simply a confirmation step to ensure that they are the correct records. Press Confirm.
