The MMEx Client will automatically download message attachments to configurable directories on your server where they can be easily imported into your practice management system (Medical Director, Genie, Best Practice, Medtech 32, etc). It also incorporates an email gateway that will translate email messages sent from your email client or practice management system into MMEx messages.
The MMEx Client Installation package can be downloaded within five minutes using the following simple steps.
Step One: On the GSMHN website (http://www.gsmhn.com.au/) go to the Support page. Click on MMEx. The MMEx Client Download page will now appear. Click on Download MMEx Client.
At this point a dialogue box will open asking you to select the program you wish to use to open the file. Windows Explorer is the preffered program. However, you can select another internet browser for the task. Once you have selected your program, click OK.

Step Six: The Computer will automatically generate an installation folder for you. If your computer is used by other MMEx users, for example if you only work part-time and share your computer with a colleague, select the Everyone Option. Otherwise, if you are the sole user of your machine select Just Me under the Install MMEx Client for Yourself, or for anyone who uses this computer option. Click Next.

Step Eight: The Client will now seek to establish a location on your computer to store the HL7 and non HL7 documents that are associated with your MMEx account. Both types of documents need to be stored on your machine (See figure 9). To create a storage location click on the Browse button located next to the HL7 directory line. You can now browse for a location where you would like to store your documents. For example, you could create an MMEx folder in your Documents folder on your C drive, where you would normally save word documents and the like. Once you have found a suitable location, click on the Make New Folder button (See figure 10). Name this folder MMEx. Highlight this folder and create a second folder labelled HL7 Directory. Highight the HL7 directory file and click OK.
