Pathology results come in to your Results In inbox. Click on the tab on the left hand side of the screen, below your Inbox, Sent & Drafts mailboxes, to open it.

Figure 1: The Results In Screen in MMEx
Items that are listed in a white row indicate that the result is normal. Items that are listed in a pink row indicate an abnormal result. The tool bar at the top of the Results In screen allows you to search for a particular result or filter the results according to various statuses. To open and view a result, simply click on the item in the list.
MMEx will automatically assign pathology results to the relevant patient in your database so long as the patient's name and DOB on the result & in your patient list match up.
If a result has been automatically assigned you will notice an Unassign button against that item. This button can be used to unassign a result if you wish to do so. You can manually assign the result to a patient by clicking on the Assign button for items that were not able to match up to a patient in your list. If a patient is not in your database, MMEx will create a new patient record for you. Once a result has been assigned to a patient it can then also be viewed from the Results tab when you have the patient record open.

Figure 2: Right click on an item for more options
You can also select more options by right clicking on an item. Click Details to view the result; Assign to assign the result to a patient in your patient database; Reassign Recipient if the result was in fact intended for someone else and sent to you by mistake; Archive to move the item to your archive list; or Delete to delete the item. Archived results can still be viewed by switching the Show filter at the top of the Results In screen to the Archive option.

Figure 3: Viewing a pathology result
Figure 3 shows an example of how a pathology result is viewed in MMEx. Using the toolbar at the top of the page you can navigate through various results, and assign or archive the result if you wish to do so.

Figure 4: Reviewing a pathology result
To review a pathology result, enter any comments into the Comments box, select the result and an action required using the drop down lists and click the Reviewed button. Results that have been reviewed will then appear with a green tick against them in the Results In screen. Actions that have been selected will then show on the Actions page, accessible from the Patients tab at the top of the page.
